Just curious as to whether anyone plays other MMOs and is giving darkfall a shot. I'm thinkin of giving it a shot and given the dangerous nature of the game I'm lookin to see if I can hang around peeps

I have a Lord Of The Ring Online life account. Well I've not been playing for a while now. It's the only MMORPG I've been playing lately...

I could give a try Micro, but certainly in February due to work

I checked at the website, it looks nice. I looked at a video telling how exceptionnal it is... well they all say that. did you test it?

I've played few mmorpg's earlier, Eve, Lineage, and try few more. Wanted to try Warhammer Online but i decided to wait for a Darkfall Relise is on 22 Jan i think... It can be intresting.. I'm going check this, but after session end in february

Im gonna play it the 22th.

I'm going to give it a try too, i'm waiting also for face of mankind CB to start in February even if I probably won't be picked.

I think Face of Mankind is an old game, released years ago.

It was, I played from CB through retail for 2 years from 2005 if I remember correctly. The game has been shut down in 2007 and now duplex brought it back.

Darkfall looks shit.

I stick around with FS.

It seems too perfect based on the video
They promise way too much, well that's how you get people try it and maybe some will continue to play.
Game without limits... Yeah right.
I'm not even gonna try that. Also it seems to be monthly fee on that so one more reason not to try it.

too perfect? how can u even say that o.O Looks at the lousy fighting graphics geez... I hate a game with lousy fighting scenes, and since it's probably like any other MMORPG, just grind grind grind, then they could at least make a nicer looking fight simulation... gosh.

I want to try Darkfall, because I like the idea that you have a lot of freedom to do what you want (i.e. beat on someone just cuz you feel like it). It adds a danger effect that I haven't felt in MMOs since I stopped playing Eve Online.

Eye-popping graphics aren't a major issue for me. I played LOTRO which I thought was pretty nice graphically. In the end I got bored of it, because I found that there just wasn't enough to do. I got tired of beating on npcs and the pvp was bleh.

I'm going to pick up Darkfall on the 22nd. I'm not gonna stop FS or anything. Going to play both (When FS is dead, switch to DF).

I meant those promises. Total freedom, can do whatever you want. Fight on sea, be a pirate, be a blacksmith. Go where ever you want, find treasures. Fighting totally based on skills (=full of exploits )
Not to forget that game will be revolutionary and change the way we think about games...
and so on.

So it seems too perfect to be true.

Waiting on Darkfall, since it's probably Ultima gone 21st century

It also has no grind, purely skill based. Seems a dream come true.



Waiting on FoM too, it was an AWESOME game. Too bad I played when it finished O.B
